Some people think they’re always right
Others are quiet and uptight
Others they seem so very nice
Inside they might feel sad and wrong

Twitter Interview with Mike Moss.

This Friday, instead of the usual music entry I thought it could be interesting to ask the musician himself about the song, his work, his background and any other questions an artist should answer on a music interview. So I took adventage of my obsession for twitting and asked some questions to the awesome Mike Moss. Oh and btw, this is the very first interview of the blog!

Randomeria: Are you promoting a single at the moment?

Mike Moss: Drop in the Ocean is the lead single from the album.  Although,  Emotion Machine has also been picked up by radio.

Randomeria: What is the song “Drop in the Ocean” about?

Mike Moss: I don’t want to give too much away as to what Drop In The Ocean is about as I’m sure the listeners have a story in their minds. However, Lets just say that it’s about how sometimes a small misunderstanding can blow out of all proportion and drive a wedge between people.

Randomeria: Could you tell me about your music influences?

Mike Moss: My musical influences range from U2 to George Harrison to Muse, right the way to Paul Oakenfold and Moby. Variety is the spice of life!

Randomeria: Are you currently working on new material?

Mike Moss: Am I working on anything new? Always! I have a box full of ideas waiting for the second album.I am mostly concentrating on getting Cold World Plastic Dream on the map at the moment though & enjoying playing it live. Thanks for paying it some attention. Out of interest, which is your favourite song?

Randomeria: Drop in the ocean is my fav, thank you! You are a genius!  May I ask you a last question? Have you ever been interviewed through twitter before?

Mike Moss: You are my first on Twitter! It’s actually easier than you’d think to use 140 characters or less!

Stay tuned with Mike Moss via:
